Our Colleagues of SPE Applied Rheology are participating in the

NOVEL TRENDS RHEOLOGY VII conference

The conference is organized by the Polymer Centre, Faculty of Technology, Tomas Bata University in Zlín in cooperation with the Applied rheology division, the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) and the Czech Group of Rheology

The conference will be hosted at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Zlín, Czech Republic.

Rheology is a critical aspect of extrusion. Understanding the flow behavior of polymer melts is a key factor for successful extrusion equipment design, process setup and troubleshooting. Applied rheology is an active research topic due to the vast applications and relative complexity.

Prof. Ing. Martin Zatloukal has been a regular and great contributor to the SPE Extrusion Division with many articles and presentations over the years. His Research Work in the fields of Applied Rheology, Comptutational Fluids Dynamic and Extrusion have greatly contributed to better understanding of the extrusion process. Some members of the Extrusion Division Board of Directors will participate in the conference with applied rheology / Extrusion / Industrial applications papers.
